Dear friends, dear contestants,

we would like to cordially invite you to XII. Slovak Abilympics. We are able to organize this unique event thanks to the generous financial support of: Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, Johnson & Johnson and Stredoslovenská energetika, Inc.

In comparison with the previous volumes of Abilympics, this year we are preparing several changes.

The Slovak Abilympics 2014 will be held in hotel SOREA Regia in Bratislava that offers high quality services regarding the board and accommodation as well as attractive places for individual competitions.

Due to the large number of candidates and also in order to increase the quality of this event we decide to establish pre-selection system of all interested contestants. Every competitor intending to apply for the Slovak Abilympics needs to send via email few photos of its handmade products related to the selected discipline. Afterwards, the portfolio of each candidate will be evaluated and successful candidates will be invited to participate on the Slovak Abilympics 2014.

Moreover, during the competition day, all contestants will have the opportunity to present their products on the trade show. (Products do not have to be related with selected discipline).

Last, but not least, this year of the Slovak Abilympics offers an opportunity to qualify for the International Abilympics 2016 that will be held in France.
